August and Thursday and Evvy

August and Thursday are little littles. I only get to see them a few times a year. I met them a while back when August was newly rescued. The Family called to schedule some training. The rescue required it for all new adoptions. I meet the family and ask the usual questions. " How is the house training going?" "Barking at strangers?" "Chewing stuff up when you're away?" Nope, No, No problem...I say "OK." Now, this training session is mandatory per the adoption. So, I start asking more questions...I am here to do some training. Right? "What about your first dog?", "Is Thursday jealous?", "guarding toys?" Great, no way, perfect....
What the hell is going on here!! These are Chihuahuas for Christ stake! They can not be as good as these people are telling me.

We end up just kind of chatting about dog. The owners have a little trip planned and ask if I know a good kennel. I said I could take the "perfect dogs". I was sure I would find the chink in the armor if I had some time alone with them.

I picked them up on a Friday, by Monday I had to agree. These dogs are perfect!!!
Quiet, playful, confident, snugglers. I never get to spend enough time with them. The family has a new Baby. Evvy. It is a human baby.
She will probably be super awesome, too.

  1. YOU are super awesome and we could not be happier knowing our pups are with someone who loves them almost as much as we do...
