"It is the journey not the destination" -some zen guy

There is something super funny about having to drive the dogs to walk the dogs. Driving to walk is funny. Driving to walk ten dogs is super funny. The journey to the dog park is filled with stuff. Obstacles, traffic, noise, excretions, time constraints and a necessary understanding that is is a vital part of the experience.

When it rains....

Five days a week I walk a crew of dogs in the morning. I love this part of my day. Living in LA means I rarely get rained out. When it happens I feel a little disappointed.
Everyone loves a "surprise day off". But, I don't work at a desk. When I get rained out I feel like I'm letting the little ones down. I'll feel better when I get some movies and a greasy bag of chips.
